Bad Dentist Work

Hi All

Just want to find out - I went to the dentist on Saturday to get my tooth filled. It's not even been a week and now the filling has come loose.
Do I have some kind of recourse here; do I have to pay to get this fixed as they did a shoddy job?

Hi,

I'd say go back to the dentist - maybe they will be willing to fix it without charge.

Worst case scenario would be to lodge a complaint (if you can prove the dentist was negligent somehow):

They should fix it free of charge, it happened to me once, not that the guy was a bad dentist(has always been my dentist) but something obviously went wrong, he was more than happy to make an appointment ASAP to fix it.

Should have become a dentist. Guy wants R4400 for a crown. Less 20% for folding money. Back of my mouth, no one sees it.
