Bad flu with a running nose

I went to the pharmacy today for flu medicine and they gave me Demazin and cetizal. This evening still feeling the same. I am wondering if the 2 pills is good enough
 
Coryx and Corenza Cocktail works best for me up and about the next day.
 
Flu was bad this year. Took me six weeks to recover. Go to a doctor. I didn't, I should have.

My new rule, if it's in the lungs and it's lasts more than 5-7 days, go to the doctor.
 
Linctagon works well for a runny nose and helps to build immune system. But like Bio says, go to a doctor.
 
I always find that Salex nose spray used 3 - 4 times a day really helps with the nose. Salt water kills germs like Chuck Norris.

I would then also go with an Iliadin (can't use for more than 5 days) to stop the running nose.

Then the usual's like Corenza C, Linctagon Effervescent, ACC200 3 times a day

I've been sick since last week Sunday. It almost seems like it's gone the one minute and the next I feel like crap again. Been using acc200 but apparently not enough, only once a day after dinner. The place we're house sitting is also super cold for some reason. I can't walk walk around with something warm.
 
Super B in the morning
500mg in morning and at night.

oscillococcinum 3 times daily for 3 days. After that you must take a break.
Imune booster

Add to that whatever flu meds you like

That *** is homoeopathic bull****. If you need to 'take a break' that would be before the course of placebo pillls
 
Only thing I have ever found to work:

Have one with boiling water, go to bed. Get up, have another and go to bed. Do that for a day or two and you are sorted.
I swear by these stuff. They not cheap though. I also breath in the vapours while it's fuzzing :o

Yeah, this flu doesn't just go away or feel better in 1 day. My fever went away after about a week, but the other symptoms didn't let up at all for 3 weeks from going to the doctor.
 
Triple brandy, squeeze a lemon into it and add some honey. 3 times per day and sleep it off.
 
Medlemon and vicks on toes and chest sorted me out in 2 days
 
I like medlemon and sleep. Sleep being the most important thing. The pills wont cure you, they treat the symptoms but you need to rest otherwise it will just come back...your body needs a gap to fight and it wont get that if you dont rest.
 
Being sick isn't the problem for me. Feeling congested is the worst!

I actually flush my sinuses with a neti pot a few times a day. Being able to breathe properly makes flu much more bearable for me.

Then I can just carry on with life and wait for the Corenza to do its job.

Booking off work is also very important. I always used to go anyway so that I didn't let the team down. But you really are just making yourself suffer more and potentially infecting everyone around you.
