2,123 kbps upload AND 263 kbps upload and a ping of 257 just isn't good enough when you're PAYING for a 4 MB/sec line

Plus it's the IS backbone, seen reports of slow speeds from some ISPs on IS during peak periods.

Have you tested this with other isp accounts, many offer free 1GB accounts or free trial periods.

OP, please run the speedtest from here and all 3 sites then post here.

After using your current account, switch over to the Telkom GUEST account and do the same tests.

Username: guest@telkomadsl
Password: guest

All case sensitive so make sure lowercase

This after following above advice and if you still getting slow speeds, contact TelkomZA on the forum as he can do some magic but be super patient, responses are upto 72hrs if not shorter.
