Bad performance

Nevermind overloaded, ever since their staff started playing around with the towers in CT all they managed to do is make it worse everytime.
I just spent the last 30min trying to get an IP and when I did get one it was the damn "64" again.

Right now at this point in time if I could get ADSL here by tomorrow I'd smash this iburst modem into tiny pieces.
Even though before they messed with the towers it was pretty good, I am not prepared to spend so much money every month for this crap service.

Think they have woken up to the 64 IP thing...

I wonder if they are trying to resolve the 64 IP of death? This afternoon it was impossible to obtain a 69 and 70 IP.

Yeah, since they messed with the towers in the CBD my RF signal is down by 2 dB and my connection is half the speed it used to be.

Also, every second day there is an connectivity issue, not one week has gone by that I haven’t had to call them to inform them about an issue on their network.

It’s a harsh reminder that we are now living with african standards and 1st worlds standards are no longer maintained and I rather won’t speculate on why this is.

Not necessarily. Yes, CT subscribers and some JHB customers currently have bad service, but this doesn't mean that ALL subscribers have the same problems.

Here in PTA, we haven't had a serious problem since September. Surely IBurst will wake up and fix whatever is going on in Cape Town CBD, as this is now a bigger problem than the congested Joburg towers.

I disagree, the point is that it is unprofessional and unethical charging consumers for a service they are unable to use. iBurst doesn’t respond to complaints in Cape Town, well not yet…

I’ve been at it from the second week I got this crap!

If I remember correctly, there was a post here about IBurst giving someone in Cape Town a free month's service, as compensation for all the degrations and base station outages in the past month.
