Put in R150 on my cell C prepaid last week and got 1000 mb free, which would expire Sunday.
Well Sunday night 11 pm I still had 450 mb so I decided to download some podcasts.

After downloading a few files I check my balance and it says 98mb left. Cool I download a few more files, check again and its still 98mb.

So I decided to leave it for a few minutes in case it needs to update or something. Check it again, still 98 mb. So this time I read it slowly

says:

you have R22, 99 sms and 0.
98 mb

UUUURRGGGHHH

used up 130 bob on some cr@ppy podcast.

Is it not supposed to only start using the airtime after the data is done?

Thats what I would think- could be a glitch in their system that stops counting once it drops below 1mb

Yup, I see the same.

*101# returns:
Balance = R 9.40 Expiry date:02/05/2031.On-Net Minutes = 01:15:00.Free SMS's = 39.Free Data = 93.09 MB.Free Data = 0.95 MB.

The second "Free Data" is what is left over from my 5GB promotional bundle. The first "Free Data" is a 100MB bundle which was part of a All-In-One voucher purchased last month.

Cell-C used the promotional 5GB bundle before using the 100MB bundle, even though the All-In-One bundle is older.
