Best system I've found... going fully bald was the best decision I've made in decades. Been shaving my head since 22 years old and a year ago I started shaving proper. Looks so much better. The ladies agree based on my recent hitrate :ROFL:

I'm considering going for laser hair removal to be done once and for all. The maintenance is legit a pain.

EDIT: forgot to add... the first few times is a bit eina and you will make mistakes. But your skin gets used to it quickly and then it is smooth sailing from there. PUN INTENTED! Their lube makes a big difference. Also shaving an already shaved scalp is much much easier than shaving a sculp cut with a machine, even on zero setting.

I use the same, when I dont tell the barber to do it. Works a treat. Blades last ages for me if I only shave once a week. I also only use normal shaving gel.

Blades last a decent amount of time, I'm into my second month with this blade.

I shave every second day, cause my hair grows fast and thick (sad!). Hence why I want to laser the fskers and make them voetsek permanently.

Obviously the more often you do it the better and easier it is. All depends on how fast your hair grows. See @Suspect99 above, also does it once a week.

Shaving completely is nice, but within a few days it grows out a bit. If you trim it with clippers without a clipper guard you get the same effect as a few day old shave and it's so much easier.

I'm grateful that I'm a hairy monkey still. Must have the same Scottish genes as Sean Connery.

Males in the family do eventually thin a bit but we still have a full head of hair late in life.

I shave my head once a week with a Gillette Mach5 razor. Best razor I've found for a sensitive area like the head. I use a good shaving gel as well, then moisturise afterwards with some Nivea face cream.

^^^^ You okes above.... WHy shave your head if you've got hair growing ?
You understand what balding is... you don't lose all your hair in all places at once. The back and sides have full coverage. The top..... not so much! :ROFL: :crying: If I let it grow it looks kak.
This. Just cut it with a Philips cordless hair cutter every few months. Mine is already paid for not paying R100 every month at a barber.
I have had my trusty Philips cordless for 10+ years and it served me well. Shaving completely just takes things up another level. Cause even at a number zero cut you can still see that I'm balding. And it looks ok but being fully shaved looks so much better.

Balding = a tragedy
Bald = a choice
