I discovered this yummy snack at Pick 'n Pay at the nuts dispensers. It's a lot cheaper than nuts and taste real good. I see they can be dried or deep-fried. Anyone know which way the PnP ones are made? It's crunchy and sweet. Did I mention yummy?
I used to buy packets of peanuts and raisins but it inflates me like a balloon and got a lot of fat. What nibblies do you buy?

Mango chips are good too, and sometimes raw pitted dates, I also chew toothpicks when there's nothing else, the wood is very chewable and fibre rich ;)

fried ones are not very sweet and are pretty much like a potato crisp so im guessing the ones u had were dried.

yummy tooth picks :wtf:

Gonna try me some banana chips and some mango chips.

Are the mango chips the same as those dried mango strips, or something else?

They are dried & (usually) glazed. The mango ones are particularly awesome. :) I'd limit the quantity though...spikes sugar levels & *always* contains a hectic preservative to keep the colour natural (Usually something sulphur based). That goes for all dried fruits.

The same, dried mango strips, and of course nuts & seeds are nice too, walnuts, cashews, almonds, brazils, macadamia, pine and pistachio, also sunflower seeds and coconut flakes :)

Love em. I bring lots back when I go to India, very popular there

Hmm there's no nut like a macadamia nut... I can eat bags of those, too bad they're so expensive.

I suspect these are fattening ... fried in oil and with a glaze of sugar ....
