Why does a 3 gig pro package cost R449 but to purchase an additional 3gigs after you've reached your cap cost R499. Where is the incentive to buy more bandwidth if the badwidth purchased costs more than you originally payed per gig. Iburst should change their booster pricing to a more sensible pricing structure.

Bandit1, that is a silly question. Of COURSE the top up bandwidth is going to cost MORE than the regular package of equivalent capacity otherwise everyone would just buy a low package and buy the top ups. You are rewarding the customer for committing to paying for 3GB every month. It is a common business practice to encourage users to upgrade to a higher bundle if they REGULARLY find that they need that much data.

In any case, you are paying R0.146 per MB when on the 3GB bundle and if you buy the top up you are paying R0.162 per MB so it is not like there is a MASSIVE difference between the 2. Why don't you compare it with other offerings - eg 3G where you pay anything from R1.20 for extra MB's. It really is not a rip off.

Not bad profit for ibust when axxess prepaid costs R59 per GB which can be carried over for 12 months, I'm certainly glad I never stayed with these ripoff artists.

Yeah, but Axxess can't help you if your telskum lines have been stolen.
Oh, and Axxess just sells bandwidth, on the other hand, iBurst sells bandwidth and on top of that they have infrastructure to look after, Axxess relies on a third party for that, hence the price difference... you could never compare the two. :)

Well you'd be an idiot if you didn't buy bundles and paid R2/MB.

i'd rather pay R0,19/MB for 3G/HSDPA speeds than R0,16/MB for iBurst Speeds and all their throttling Rules.

Where I stay, iBurst was faster than 3G/HSDPA (Vodacom).

not when throttled mate, not when throttled.....
