With the 3GB cap looming surely WBS need to make an online service available where customers can log in and check their bandwidth consumption - or will this be responsibility of the reseller?

no they wont leave it to the reseller because resellers do not have access to the system so they cannot say how much bandwith you have chewed up. I'd say some sort of web app to see your bandwith report is to be expected because without it customers would feel liek they were getting cheated. I am going to do independant monitoring with netlimiter so I can see if WBS figures and my figures match up

I'm finding DUMeter very much to my liking. I particularly enjoy the forecast function, which for the first time has told me I'm going to be over my 3GB limit this month at my current rate of knots...

how accurate is dumeter, i just downloaded it after i read your post and it says i'm currently downloading at 220KB/s o0

ok wait scratch that it was monitoring all my network devices so it counted the data twice, i was actually doing 110KB/s, geez i hope WBS doesn't make a mistake liek that

Well, if WBS miss this simple little fact I don't feel like they can compete "in the real world"

I haven't heard anything of something like this though, let's wait and see.... first one to reach their cap is a dumbass....

Speaking of DU meter, do you find that your HDD activity is like hectic bru ?

I aske because I reloaded my image two weeks ago and my HDD activity isn't as high as before. I have not installed DU meter yet so i suspect that perhaps DU meter that causing all the activity ?
