Bandwidth Hi-Jacked??

I seem to have downloaded 4 gigs since yesterday....the only thing is my computer has been off for most of the time. Could it be that someone is hijacking my bandwidth like what was happenning with Telkom ADSL a while ago??

its possile however they would have to use your modem because they use your username, password and UTID to record or retrieve information.

There is another possibility, thier bandwith counter only updates for alot of us as we connect, so if you were connected 24/7 for a week and downloaded say 10GB, that whole time your bandwith counter would read the same thing however only once you reconnect would it update and say 10GB.

Then of course it could just be a screw up with the software, this is probably more likely than someone hijacking your bandwith, so if you suspect this call someone at WBS.
