Bandwidth limiters

Hi

Is there any program available where in I can set a limit for the amount of data i want transferred in a day? I'm trying to limit myself to around 100MB/day so I can stretch the 3GB cap over a month... However I think it would be easier if I had a program which could automatically cut me off when i reached the limit on that day.

Does it need to cut you off? Shouldn't it just warn you?

I use BWmeter http://www.bwmeter.com which allows me to set alerts. It does have the option to shut down the PC, but that seems extreme!

Every time I read this I wonder if we could call Adsl, Access to Internet. Its pathetic to even say this again but Telkom is holding ZA back more than the Goverment being corrupt.

All over it seams as if everyone is implementing a cap, but all fingers can be pointed to Telkom for everyone buy the bandwidth from them and they just set prices to pay Sizwe and his fellow rand moneysuckers
