So i wana get a 4meg line and share it between 2 computers, right what i wana do is...

Get my router to limit 2mbps b/w per port since we gonna have 2 computers connected and each cn have its own half of the bandwidth.
each pc will be dialing up through windows as we both gonna have our own isp accounts,
is this possible? o by the way i have a Gigabyte GN-AR01G which has IP QoS

please let me know,o qucik random question, is it possible to dial up twices via the router with 2 accounts but each account to be allocated to its own LAN port? thanks :confused:

You can use PPPOE, each PC, not the router, dials up. The router operates in bridge mode. The computer dial through the router. Almost like a dial-up account, but its dsl.

I'm not sure about the QoS on that specific router, but generally its not too hard to allocate bandwidth, i.e. 50% to a IP.
But the router should automatically do 50-50 when handling two accounts.

so if i set the QoS to 50%,it will half the speeds and max em to 2/2 on each port? i dnt mind dialing up via PPPOE
