Have a 10 PC network with Xp on all.
I'm using up my bandwidth cap pretty fast and I'm not sure where the culprit is on my network.
It's an internet cafe and it could be spyware/adware but I've scanned all the machines and removed what's been found but still having problem.
Is there a good network monitor that I could use to isolate if it's a specific machine.
Or is there some other troubleshooting steps I haven't thought about?
TIA

Disable windows update, download the network versions once and manually install for starters, I would use something like smoothwall, or IPCop to manage my connection to the isp, you can download them both free, if your feeling more adventurous get a coppy of Mandrakes MNF it allows packet shaping (version 10 beta)you can also run squid in caching mode (on all of the above firewalls)
