I have an Axxess lite prepaid account and a 1 meg line.

My bandwidth seemed to be disappearing

The following stats is from Axxess website

Duration of session: 2 hour(s) 58 minute(s) 37 second(s)

IN : 68.25MB
OUT: 1.09GB
TOTAL: 1.16GB

Is it theoretically possible to move 1.16 gig in 3 hours on a 1 meg line?

I changed to an Afrihost account and its totally normal.

Is it possible my Axxess account is compromised, i did 2 password resets and a router password reset as well, but I just cannot hold onto my Axxess bandwidth.

The NasPortId and IP is the same for all sessions.

Is anyone else having similar issues.

TIA.

You reset the router password but what about the wireless key? Also you don't have utorrent running do you?

You can always download NetLimiter 2 Monitor (which is free) to check what is using Internet bandwidth.

Also, it is physically impossible to upload 1GB on a 1Mbps line (512kbps upload) in 3 hours. You'll need a 10Mbps line (1024kbps upload) to be able to do 1GB in 3 hours.

Good point, I did check what devices are attached to the router as I thought maybe my cell phone was doing something, so I switched off the wifi on the phone and there was only 1 device left attached to the router (my PC). In any event when I switch ADSL accounts to a non Axxess account I dont have this issue - very weird.

I will change my wifi key any way. thanks

Exactly what I did, downloaded netlimiter to check and couldnt see any usage that would account for the volume. and thank you for confirming that a 1 meg line can not do this volume in the time specified. I will take this further with Axxess.
