Has anyone else noticed that their bandwidth usage report has remained unchanged for the last 4 or 5 days?

It normally corrects itself after you disconnect from the session, if you hold the same IP then it will not update in the reports but still keeps track of your usage on their side.

Had the same for 5 days now, but still became capped during that time. I use the emails as a general update, but I never take them as law.

Ja, it's happened here...

I thought I'd be capped by now, but apparently I still have 780mb left, which I'm pretty sure isn't right.

yip myne stopped 2. And i check it through mweb aswell. Reconnected lotsa times too. Maybe they've just got fed up and dont care anymore :D ...or the hamster wheel wont turn anymore

I've play online games every other day, downloaded a 4.7Gb DVD from mirror.ac.za. Still i get :

Purchased: 0GB
Uploaded: 9.58MB
Downloaded: 47.78MB
Combined Total: 57.37MB
Carried Over: 3,500.00MB
Remaining: 6,942.63MB

That's odd...my uploads and download (the 4gb..shhh.) do not show on my report

I've been uncapped for the past 2 or 3 months on iBurst, last month got a bit bad where it went between capped and uncapped, but for R600 it's not a bad deal. :P

Thank goodness they blocked torrents though, I mean it's obviously helped people use less bandwidth than they used to!

HA HA HA... I download around 5 or 6 times more than I ever did with unblocked torrents. Take that iburst!

As far as I can tell, the more shaping they've implemented the worse their control of bandwidth has become. I can almost be guaranteed an uncapped session any day of the week lately, whereas before it was more so a freak accident.

Oh well, it's the only thing keeping me on the service now that everything is blocked.

Thats the only good thing about iburst IF you want to download a lot, in my 2 years with them I managed to average 45 to 60GB just about every month which is quite a good few years worth of bandwidth from a 3Gb package.:D

At that rate sooner or later they'll go ibust.

My BW reports are correct..they've been correct everyday...and I havent been able to "uncap" my capped connection for the past two weeks :(

Enjoy...

i wouldn't be making this public info if i were you guys

Heh, I know for a fact that iburst are tracking what I say here (as Alan Knott and Shireen have directly admitted to me) in an effort to make the service even less usable. Such was the case with the once great hub.

Frankly I'm not really bothered by it much anymore though, I have to stay within their shoddy 20GB limit or get cut off so capped or uncapped doesn't bug me much anymore and I've since lost all confidence in their ability to fix the uncappage "error".
