i can see that one out my window,but i thought that was a signal for planes,its been there for years and years,funny thing is i getting 14-17kb/s (128k) on bedfordview tonight and ive never seen that before.usually get 8-11kb

NOW if we buy some beer for TheRoDent he will come over with his test gear, I think MyDraadloos is also in Bedfordview area.

WOW - something has definately been done. I'm getting ± 10 KB/s from Tucows on a single thread. Also Ping statistics for 66.18.65.115:
Packets: Sent = 20, Received = 19, Lost = 1 (5% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 62ms, Maximum = 250ms, Average = 101ms

Yaaay another Smoothwall-PPPoE user :)

Can't say my experience with Mintek 12 has been the same lately. Had up and down signal the whole of Wed/ Thursday (can't remember)
 
Hi,

I am connected to Radiokop tower - get between 10 and 14kb/s
Strangely enough Mattias called me yesterday afternoon asking me to do a speed test. Told him im not home he must call in the morning. Do they think the problem is solved now?
Streaming audio seems dead though.
I would not get too happy, maybe one of the guys at sentech that is a heavy downloader is not at work and therefore there is like 50mbps extra for us to use.
Now I wonder if I should tell Mattias when he calls the speed is 10-14KB/s (then he will close the speed ticket) or tell him "Uhm I dunno its still very very slow."
