Gents please tell me how much bandwidth BF2 uses, cause i have lately noticed that my cap seems to be running down reasonably fast for some odd reason and has so only started after starting BF2 in the start of the month.

it chewing like 150megs for like 4 to 5 hours of gameplay, either that or some has haxed my account!

dude go and look up routesentry on this forum

bf 2 chomps like 50 meg an hour

you could get a local account run routesentry and it would work out alot of cheaper

Yes BF2 is a real BW eater. As killadoob suggested go and get routesentry along with raspppoe protocol. This way you can run an INT and a LOCAL connection similtaneaosly and when you browse local sites or play local games it only takes from your LOCAL conn being so much cheaper.

BF2 requires an INT connection to authorise your account but if you play on SGS servers it will only require LOCAL thereafter, so you save lots of bucks with RouteSentry this way.

Would love to get Routesentry to work with Vista as I play alot of online games and it's costing me a pretty penny.

if u use Vista u dont need raspppoe as Vista can create the connections by itself no problem. however it seems the Vista version of RouteSentry is not available for download at the moment? :(
