Bandwith Flies When You Are Having Fun

I have only been on ADSL for 4 months now and at first I could not understand what the fuss was about the whole bandwidth issue because the first month I used less than a gig.

I am currently a prepaid client and lately I have been using a gig a week and am therefore looking for alternative options.

Advice will be greatly appreciated.

My connection is being used for browsing, email, downloads, online banking, website maintenance/development and a lot of online research.

Downloads consists mainly of virus updates, program updates, trail/evaluation programs and lately a lot of mp3's etc.

I spend about 12 hours on the net per day.
