Banking Details

Whats the worst that can happen if someone stumbles upon my bank details? (like acc# branch# acctype etc)

I have them on my phone in plain text and anyone using my phone can see them

Should I be more cautious?

They can pay money to you? *shrug*

Don't think they can do a thing.

Remember loads and loads of businesses have their banking details out there in the open, on invoices, websites etc. . . . trust me they wouldn't be doing that if it was unsafe.

The people in the call centers are not always the bright sparks.. with your id, address and phone number etc they can do some stuff via the call center. I'm curious what the extent would be though and whether or not banks in SA call back / check clip numbers at some point.
