Banking group wants money back

But the Coalition says it no longer has the money, because it was spent on the Coalition's annual general meeting planned for next month.

ROFL! Great financial controls here!!!
:D

The SACP-led Coalition - made up of non-governmental organisations and labour - lobbies against high banking fees and high mortgages, while the Council is responsible for the financial sector's empowerment charter and represents many organisations targeted by the political party in its campaigns.

Now that's irony for you. Perhaps they thought it was a refund of all their banking fees :D.

Look, lets take an optimistic viewpoint here: at least in this case the money wasn't in garbage bags! Unbelievable is about right.
