Banks taking on mobile networks

Several banks have launched mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) with attractive data prices and value-added features that benefit their customers.

Unlike fully-fledged mobile network operators, MVNOs don't operate their own mobile network infrastructure.

Until a bank actually builds its own mobile network with its own infrastructure they're not taking on any mobile network, especially not the very same networks they're piggybacking off of. Make no mistake, none of the big networks would be allowing MVNOs unless there was some financial advantage to be had from it. To frame it as them competing with their host networks is a little far fetched.

Yeah they aren't competing with them...they are literally bringing them the money.

Banks are doing all the customer facing work while the network just cash it in.
