So... Schalk Britz and Peter Grant in? Have they accepted. This Barbarians side is looking really good. Tough last game for Jake. And without his captain

Barbarians kicked SA ass hardcore. Last score I saw was 22-5. No idea about the final score.

Missed the game, WTF!

Anyone know when there will be a re-run on DSTV? Maybe it'll be on SABC3 tonight.

Be happy you missed the game! A nice blot on a guys coaching image if looking to take over the coaching postion in England. Just love it!... :).

The message this team conveyed to the remainder of the rugby playing nations... "do we really need to fear teams under this coach?"

Come on Mr TB...they were without John Smit, Victor Matfield, Bakkies Botha, Schalk Burger, Fourie du Preez, Butch James, JP Pietersen & Percy Montgomery. That more than half of the 2007 World Champs squad absent.

Patriotic... just hate it when they lose, heck!, I was so fedup afterwards. Just need to show my frustration somewhere...:):)

Yeah, it was a "friendly" match and the Springboks were far from full strength.

I am pissed. I paid good money to see that match (£64 = R900). Firstly they cut attendance and dropped capacity for the match to 55k people because of train maintenance. This was not a biggie though, what is a biggie is that Jake White decided that he will not go to a single practice. WTF! And all the UK and French clubs who also decided not to release their players, and the players who pulled out at the last minute. We paid top dollar for a a top match and had gaurentees that certain players would be there and instead where served up a poor excuse for a game and a Springbok 3rd team!

That sucks. :(

What were his reasons for not going to any of the practices?

O/T: Are you in the UK permanently now?

O/T : I will see what happens. I am here until I know what is happening with 2009 elections :) Then I will see what happens.

I am not too sure why, meetings and what not but I think this game was written off by every one. Just a last chance to fill SARUs coffers

O/T: Cool. You're fortunate to have that choice! :)
