Barcode Scanner to use with HTC

I'm looking for a possible solution to have a barcode scanner connect to a HTC 3600 for barcode recognition purposes.

Can this be done?

Agreed Bluetooth seems the most feasible solution.

Just thought perhaps a wired solution is "out there".

I have seen programs that can recognise those square block codes for WM phones, maybe there's one for the normal barcode too by using your camera if it has auto focus?

I have seen programs which recognize lined "old school" barcodes but on the Sybmian platform. Should exist for the mobile windows platform as well
