So, for some reason i still havent bought Batman AA, so while i was browsing through kalahari.net i came across the game of the year edition for bout R450 and ordered it, after ordering i read online that it has some triviz 3D or something. So has anybody tried it out??

Yip .. I was one of those that pre-ordered the GOTYE and was an eager beaver to try out those glasses. From what I've seen (and I've finished the game already) - and from what others have said who watched it - the 3D is rather well done. It is not something that will make you duck on the couch cause something is jumping out of the screen at you - but it does add a nice element of depth to the image. Also, if you don't like it, you can turn it off in the options and just carry on without having to stop the game and re-load it etc. I did find a slight headache ocured after a few hours of using the glasses - but that might just be a few hours of gaming that could do that too :)

At worst - the GOTYE gives you some nice DLC's you don't have to download and 2 pairs of the glasses (which, even if you don't use them - is still a funky attraction to show off to friends)

Excuse my ignorance - but if we can have this 3D on current TVs with the glasses they supply ... what are 3Ds TV for?

Its a much higher quality 3D, like the one you see in avatar. While the one in the game is the much "older version" if you can call it that.

Thats what i think.
