Batman - Arkham Knight

Hmm looks good, will wait a bit and get one secondhand though, saving for Xbox one!

I got a steam key for this with my GTX970. Need to check tonight at home if I can start pre-loading.

So release day is almost here. I'm still waiting for my key from G2A, hoping I'll get it today still so I can start preloading.

Anyway, Polygon's review is out, and it's the first game I've seen that they've given a 10/10.

Batman: Arkham Knight Review - The Good Fight

I originally had my preorder with G2A, but cancelled it when I discovered the CDKeys premium edition for $35. CDKeys delivered the key yesterday and it redeemed on Steam no trouble. Busy downloading the 33.7GB preload with 11 hours remaining.

Anyone with the game in their Steam library can preload it.

How are the games so much cheaper on G2A?
And has anyone had any issues from them?

Never heard about them till just now.

G2A is a marketplace. They just connect sellers with buyers, and for this reason they offer G2A Shield to protect buyers against non-working keys. Never make a purchase on G2A without G2A Shield. I pay around a dollar a month for the Shield subscription, which works out much cheaper than paying a dollar on every transaction.

There have been incidences of stolen keys being sold on G2A, but such things happen once in a blue moon and you're covered anyway if you have G2A Shield. The prices are low simply because it is possible to acquire games cheaply under certain circumstances. Many keys come from Humble Bundles, were intended to be included with graphics cards, or from a part of the world that uses global keys but has very cheap retail prices etc. For example, Watch Dogs can be bought for around $2 thanks to it being included with almost all Nvidia graphics cards for many months. And Magicka was around $1 for a while because it was in a Humble Bundle.

I buy most of my games on G2A. I've only ever had one non-working key, and I received a refund thanks to G2A Shield. Make sure you pay with PayPal, as the transaction fee is only $0.57. And make sure you check out the weekend and midweek sales that G2A runs, as they usually have some insane prices.

Because G2A allows consumers to abuse the promotions within the gaming industry, the big players like Steam, Origin, Ubisoft etc. hate G2A and don't allow G2A discussions in their forums. They label G2A a 'grey market' to try dissuade people from buying there.

If the previous games are anything to go by then this is an automatic buy.

So when I went to https://www.g2a.com/batpal it asks for an area for VAT.
South Africa isn't listed there, so what did you guys use? Not sure if you guys used that option.

EDIT: Well it looks like its out of stock anyhow :(
