I would throw a "yet" in there...has anyone reasonably explained how they can sell games for 80% less than retail?

That 80% less rarely ever happens, if you compare new games on CDKeys to Steam some are even more expensive while others are mostly around 10% less.

Arkham Knight on PC had a really bad time when it was released and remember this was middle 2015. The last Steam sale Arkham Knight was R102.

Why is there such a huge difference in price. Is the R479 price an old page?

Often fraudsters buy bulk cd keys with stolen or fraudulent credit cards then sell the keys at stupidly low prices which is why you would sometimes find steam deactivating such keys if they manage to back trace them.

Other times it's people that buy bulk physical copies of a game for very cheap in foreign countries then sell them on the key sites. Nothing wrong with method as far as i know unless the publishes expressly forbids it.

That has to be how CDKeys does it because they are an actual store unlike G2A which is merely a market place for sellers.

You can't really say with 100% certainty the 80% off games from cdkey is not fraudulent. They will definitely have suppliers and who know where those suppliers got the keys from.
