Anyone playing the Beta or waiting for release on the 1st February or should I first ask if you guys know about this game at all?

Just played it now for a bit, runs at steady 150+ FPS, basically the old COD Promod, I think this is going to be the next big thing. You don't get perks, etc. It is basically just based on skill.

Yeah, been playing the Beta myself this weekend, I quite like it

Maps are larger than CoD and doesn't feel too shoeboxed in my opinion. I supported the game via Kickstarter and will most definitely host a local dedicated server for the game.

I did check out now that there will be South African servers available to rent.

I just hope we can get some ranked ones as well. I tried to get hold of MWEB but their forums/e-mails seem broken.

Yeah I see via Multiplay that they have server presence is in Cape Town and the max players is 24. Was hoping it might be 32, but alas, 24 is better than 10

Doubt these servers will be ranked, I'll host my own and save some cash

Meh, then I will give it a miss. I already cop enough abuse from kids telling me to go do unmentionable things with my mom playing MOBAS.

It does look impressive though, just from what I saw on Steam.

Yeah we can download it and purchase it tomorrow evening only. I think it will be about a 6GB download.

@Smith, I have over 7k hours in Dota, so I know the toxicity. Mute has become my number 1 joy.

What type of servers do you guys want? There are 4 different game modes:

a) Team deathmatch
b) Domination
c) CTF
d) Bomb (classic search & destroy)

I personally vote for Bomb and Domination or a Bomb and CTF one. I see one can randomize game modes on a server so maybe one server running randomized game modes and another with just bomb game mode.

Let me know what you guys want to see. I'll set it to the max (which will probably be 24 players for each server)

Yeah I think 1 server for random modes and 1 for S&D. That would be perfect.

I don't have like 1000 viewers and stuff, but I get quite views at peak times, so would mean the world to me!
