what will consume less battery power of my mobile?? a wi fi network or cellular network???

Depends on which one you use the least lol. But it would probably be wi-fi.

The screen has by far the biggest impact, and the brighter it is, the bigger the impact.

1 - screen display
2 - wifi
3 - all those background apps sitting there ready to go

wifi should have less of an affect on your battery when connected, than 3G does

edit: this also depends on what you have set to be active when you are connected on wifi, like application updates, or sip voip accounts, etc.

Wrong Location btw.

Wifi when always close to router or Cellular when on edge only.

What's the process - for this forum - to get mods to move threads to the right sub-section? Is there a button somewhere we can click, or do we have to message them, or create a new thread perhaps?

RBP and type asking for the thread to be moved

3G uses more battery than 2G (GSM), Cellular uses more battery than WiFi (When the phone is in Flight mode)

?

Shouldn't all radio equipment (cellular and WiFi) be switched off in flight mode? Both should then be dead.

If it's a rooted android you can download antutu cpu master and downclock the cpu. It makes a huge difference.
