Hey guys, my car has been unused for the past 3 weeks, it has a newish battery (About 6 months old) This morning the car alarm wasn't even working, no lights came on when I turned the ignition, it's completely dead. Is this normal? Did I stuff up the battery now?

PS Excuse my ignorance when it comes to these sort of things:D

Sounds like you just ran it flat - alarms etc still draw current when the car is just standing. Put it on a battery charger if you have one and it should be fine.

^^ This

Cars with alarms and trackers when left for some time can easily run their batteries flat, as they constantly draw power to keep themselves alive.

No problem - jump start it off another car, go for a nice long drive and it should be fine. :)
