Battery drain - Galaxy S

This past week my battery hasn't lasted past 3pm. Been running 2.3.3 for over a month now with no problems. No heavy phone calls. Wifi / GPS / Bluetooth is off. Screen on 1% brightness. I've always managed to reach 10pm each night with 10% left.
Has anyone else experienced this?
 
Might be a rogue app that's causing this.

Check your battery settings to see what's been draining it.
 
I know I struggle with battery life, but never that bad.

N00b question... how do I check which version of Android I am running on my SGS? :o

Settings >> About Phone >> Firmware version
 
Backtrack a week and unistall systematically all apps you installed (for the last week) , I am sure your culprate is there.Once sorted juice defender is a nifty app to extend your Battery life.

I refer you to this page. I've had massive battery drain issues while using 2.3.3 (Darky 10.1)

Well like I said in the other thread, if you already have Darky 10.1 then just flash through CWM Dark Core, no mess no fuss.

Common issue on 2.3.3, especially with Darky. Sitting at 58% right now with hardly any usage. By 10pm it'll be empty.
