Battery life on the N80

I've got N80 for about 2 weeks and enjoying it. Its' just the poor battery life that gets to me.

I remember someone giving steps to de-activate something on the N80 thereby giving two extra days battery life

Please advise.

I guess the standard steps would apply -

Make sure bluetooth isn't switched on all the time, only when you need to use it.

In the display settings, make sure that sleep mode is active in your settings - you'll know that it's working when the display doesn't show anything, but a blue LED starts flashing near the top-left of the phone.

You could also decrease the amount of time for power saver time-out and light time-out. I have mine set on 1 minute and 15 seconds respectively. Also make sure that the light sensor isn't set too high.

I get about 3-4 days out of my phone.

Check your network connections and chose GSM only. Do not chose dual mode with UMTS.

Turn off the scanning for Wifi in the phone settings section.
