So...I rolled my first Alliance char yesterday. Female Draenei Paladin :D

Reason: Tired of the Horde quests and I would really like to see the story lines and see the Alliance cities for longer than a sprint through to the city leader :p

Question though...on our server, Dentarg, there aren't a lot of alliance players. Horde outweigh them by 5:1 (apparently). Is it the same on other servers? Are there servers where there are more Alliance players than Horde? :p Does it really suck that much to be the "good guy"? :D

pvp server = more good guys. Normal servers = more ally dogs. Thats just my opinion

On Blade's Edge it's about 60:40 in favor of Alliance. It's a PvE server though so I'm not sure if you're interested in that.

I don't know how to check the player count on one's server to be honest. But I'm an Alliance on Scarshield Legion and it seems fairly balanced on there. It's a RPPVP server so we have all kinds of breeds there. lol.

I'm enjoying the Alliance because I enjoy the people in our guild. The pvp skills of our side is a bit pathetic at best of times, but we have our moments. I have rolled a Horde char on that server, and noticed the same idiotic spam in trade on their side as well. So noobs are everywhere unfotunately.

Im on Dragonblight EU where the Horde only have 29% of the population and I'm so glad. The Alliance are home to 99% of the douchebags on the server and the Horde rocks the most awesome trade chat at all hours of the day ;D

HORDE 4 LIFE!!11 (Alliance quests suck)

Alliance is not much different from Horde if you look at the people playing the faction. Again it boils down to the realm you are on and how you fit in with other people and whether you can seek out the ones that are at the same expertise level as you or whatever.

I played horde since moving to Europe back in classic. Recently changed over to Alliance and I am loving it. Personally I think "every man for himself" is the best racial out there even a bit useful in PvE, not to mention as a rogue I can spot other rogues easier and the reputation gains aint too bad either.

Yes you get kids on Alliance, bit more than on Horde side but its mostly just a problem whilst level 1-40 after which they start to be less of a problem. Just my personal opinion.

For me, Dalvengyr, US...

Horde is slightly higher numbers than Alliance.
Horde wins most BG's, Alliance pvp is a bit sloppy.

I rolled a Horde toon just to see.
I couldn't stand their trade chat for more than 10 minutes.

I can safely say that 90%+ of the Horde population on our server is illiterate redneck kids.
I'd rather lose at BG's 500% of the time than deal with those fools again for another minute.

Good luck playing Alliance :) It can be nice to have a change once in a while to spice up your wow life.

Yep yep, that's the idea :p And I want to see what the inside of the Alliance cities look like without running to the city leader and out again :p

And I don't play DK's...I'd rather start from scratch.

Have fun with it, boet. :)

My favourite Alliance City = Darnassus...tranquil and quiet.

My most practical Alliance City = Ironforge (bank & AH close by)

My most hated Alliance City = Exodar ... srsly, 'wtf mate?'
