I have downloaded the mobile authenticater for WOW but u need to merge your battle.net account with your Wow account is it recommended or will it just cause problems?

Dont do it, it has issues and has been recalled.

ive merged my account with battle.net and have had no issues what so ever, i dont use an authenticator thou.

I merged mine and am using the Authenticator. No problems at all.

This was the iPhone authenticator and ONLY if you had a previous version and installed the updated one - less tinfoil hat kk


Battle.net merges fixes most crap including - stolen accs ( they merge the accounts to bnet for some reason to make it harder to take back ),login issues with old auth servers going down and you can use the authenticators only if it's a BNet account.

The problems on there looks like its only on Iphone. Getting mixed msgs here would this work if I do it or am I just going to get a lifetime of pain lol

Yea, was pretty straightforward. I love that my Starcraft/Warcraft and Diablo game keys are on there now. All protected by my authenticator. Haven't had 1 problem with it (even after upgrading my phone's OS)

Just wish I could load my WC2 Battle.NET edition on there too!

<edit> I see this only affects upgrades to the new authenticator. I haven't upgraded anything yet
