Battlefield 1 Operations Empty

Since the SA servers have been available I never get a game in Operations. The other game servers are normally full (prefer conquest). Every time logging in for Operations I either only get one lost soul or nobody, thus never able to play. Is this an EA problem or do SAffers just not play Operations? Has anybody else tried Operations and been able to play a game? (when we were still using the Europe servers that was all I played)

Operations is a problem child in south africa we like seeing servers and do not have trust in a "lobby style" if that makes sense. there is however a facebook group divoted to this and they organise time and dates that they all play may want to check it out. if Dice had to make operations a visible server on the list then im sure operations would be doing a hell of a lot better.

I read an article somewhere over the weekend saying that they will be putting a lot of effort into sorting out operations with the next patch as many people have complained about it. They also plan to release patches once a month for improvements and such

Same problem on the Xbox One and it is deeply annoying to say the least. Ever since the Africa servers arrived. It is/was by far my favorite game mode and because of that I haven't played BF1 in quite a long while. I for one do not understand why Operations have to be region locked, it sucks.

I just got my first gaming rig 2 or 3 months ago specifically to play BF 1 multiplayer and one thing I have learnt is that you should not buy premium because the premium servers do not fill up and the premium players ignore the other premium players requests to move\join a premium server.

For reasons I do not understand I always seem to be 100th in queue with premium priority when joining the normal 64 player conquest servers, but when I ask in the game chat "who has premium" nobody seems to have it as they claim they cannot afford it. I'm a bit mind boggled because my premium priority either doesn't work, or the premium players are not interested. IT IS REALLY SAD TO SEE PLAYERS GIVE SALT ON THE CHAT WHEN ASKING THEM TO JOIN A PREMIUM SERVER AS WELL.

I have since played 1 operations game on a SA operations server. It was lucky and probably a one time experience.

I have noticed that on weekends, mostly Sunday afternoons and in the evening the operations server tends to fill with some people. Most cases there are not enough players, but that's your best bet: Sunday 4pm and onwards.

I actually managed to get an operations game going yesterday after about 30 minutes of waiting for people to join, with me the only one in the operations game and a friend asking for people on the conquest server to join.

Was super fun, ended up playing 3 games in a row.

That use to be the case with BF4 as well.

I'll definitely be doing it a few more time over the holiday as it's worth the wait since conquests gets boring after awhile

Anyone have issues with BF4 and BF1 servers having super high ping for SA servers? My ping in other games is fine, and to other servers its normal, all SA servers have trash ping for some reason. Any idea why?
