I'll definitely be playing some BF1 tonight to celebrate this momentous occasion, usually I only play during the weekends.

Some PS4 friends have confirmed local servers through quick match. Max ping of 28.

Server browser doesn't pick up anything but I joined a conquest quick match now and had 21 ping. People were chirping the Guptas and a few guys had South African flags as their avatars and ZA at the end of their names, so was definitely local.

Same experience for me, set my filter to Africa and nothing.Found a random 64 player, on a 60 ping! Was nice, mostly SA players.

Some of those European servers where a joke, one team basically steam rolls the other - hopefully those scenario's will be kept to a minimum here.
