So yesterday i got a 30 GIG cap, dropped telkom. And my brother bought a copy of BF2 as well. we tried playing 2 people on one 384 connection, and it works perfectly, no lag, no disconnection... theoretically, we running 192 each. It chows 60-70 megs an hour for 2 people. but it's worthit if u got a huge cap :)

BF2 is much more bandwidth heavy. 128 is minumum... you can probably get max 3 people on 512, max 2 on 384 and max 1 on 192

what i would do if sharing a connection is get a program called du controler

then just give each computer half bandwidth no problem from then on in

imagine your brother is downloading something and you trying to play bf grrrr

Good point.. but i use the "get off the bloody internet, i'm playing you dumb@ss" application...

heheehee, fortunately, im the only one who downloads alot at home. i use about 80% of it

lol then your fine but i find that program works well

imagine bittorent with that program lol
limit your uploading to 1kbs

Theoretically you could get 4 people on a 512k connection.

Assuming ISDN 128k working @ 90% efficiency = 115.2kbits

512k @ 90% = 460.8kbits

It works out exactly :D
