Many users logged into Battlefield 2 today to discover that they had access to all of the game's weapons unlocked in their profile. We have fixed the root issue that caused this to occur and by tomorrow morning all users will return to having access only to the weapons which they had earned. Once our solution is in place, if you find that you do not have access to weapons appropriate to your in-game rank, please direct inquiries to the Support sites linked below. In some cases users may be prompted to re-select the Unlock weapons that they are eligible for (if you are eligible for two weapons you will get to choose the two you wish to have unlocked).

If you qualify for unlocked weapons but cannot unlock them contact http://eatech.custhelp.com to report your technical issue and one of our Support representatives.

servers are up again... though i gave up waiting for to be able to login last night... so i happily though of having a quick CS:S game instead.... and STEAM updates cursed that too... sigh.... :(
 
arggghhh, arggghhh, argggghhhh, last night i couldnt log on, so i start fiddling with with the wireless routers and the linux box, then all setttings went to hell and the wirless went down and the router went down and the whole freaking internet went down! eventually went to bed :( , all because i thought the problem might be on my side!
 
Last night half the ZA bf2 community was on MIRC, all anxiously waiting to get connected :) eventually it did, and i went to sleep at 2am

sorry but i just canned myself with laughter at your trouble"shooting"... hehehe... i tested every other online game i could just to check if it was my problem... then gave up and went to bed... :(
