it helps to steal an enemy choppper from an uncapturable base and drop it off by some remote area... it annoys the hell out of the chopper boys... :D
yeah, how long does it take for said chopper to explode? quite a while i hope! cause then i will be trying this repeatedly ;)

You can always just park the chopper next to a supply box. It'll never explode then ... :)

There is an assumption that all of us can steal and safely land the jets and choppers....I can take off safely enough....but landing in one piece is a problem....I'm sorted on landing in a million pieces though ;-)

While I doubt the Army leaves the keys in their tanks, it definitely makes the game more fun, and gives you that "James bond" Element - sneek, sneek, C4 arty and UAV trailer grab tank and charge through their lines :p

I, for one, leave the keys to my attack helicopter above the visor. Doesn't everyone?

I was going to carry on moaning about helicopters but basically the players need to develop tactics to deal with them. Last week was classic when the MECs at Mashtuur city just decided enough was enough and shot down everything that looked like a helicopter. Unfortunately, only the last guy to destroy the machine gets the credit. Perhaps if credit was shared there would be a greater incentive to co-operate in destroying choppers and tanks and stuffs.

i think EA has to make a scoring factor for TEAMS that destroy targets with mutual hits... but like you said, the helicopter threat can easily be countered if everybody who's affected bothers about it and forgets about points...i for one dont care since i got to the rank i wished for already a while back...

now its time to play with ALL the guns you've unlocked... :D

:D Dude, I'm so there! I'll see y'all "thiefs" tonight, try get the commander in on it as well . . .

Just thought of a problem though - unmanned vehicles show up on the map. I'm thinking landmines and claymores for adventurous chopper whores :p

Partial hit on a chopper = kill assist points. As far as I know ALL weapons can damage the choppers, even if just slightly.

I have downed a lot of choppers with my Spec Ops rifle. I shoot the chopper and then hide behind a building while reloading. The guy in the chopper turns around to try to find me, but I often shoot the tail area so that the pilot cannot see me. A smart pilot flies away, but fortunately most pilots want to get what they think is an easy infantry kill, so they hang around long enough to bite the dust.

i have done this a few times too and when ever there is a chopper near by i always go running to get closer so that the damage is higher some times while taking a few pot shot in the air i miss the guy with the knife sneaking up behind me grrrrrrr.
oh well as they say alls fair in love for war or something like that

P.S i have been having a problem with VOIP i have everything pluged in rite and the mic works fine in windows but when i load the game and try to do the mic test she's not working i can see a small red section on the left of the bar but nothing happens when i talk
and then when in game if i talk very softly it will go through but just a little harder so that i can be heard and it cuts out any ideas ?

TheSaint - Do you maybe have the booster button clicked in the VOIP setup?

Sounds like the input volume of your mic is too low.

Sounds like you need to have the in game boost on. Also - open your windows volume controls and check your volume there first, boost the mic where necessary.

EDIT: So did anyone get to play hide the chopper last night? Had to take my 1 year old to hospital :( Only got on after 12pm.

I have the mic boost on with windows and the volumes are all up like i said it works fine in windows
