as soon as you select multiplayer from the menu just type ";" and hit enter, this will avoid searching for any servers and perhaps avoid your game browser from hanging your game.

there is a patch on the way by thursday hopefully which is rumoured to add a couple of new maps, fix the game browser issues and crashes/slowdowns in mid-game sessions.

Please do not think that a simple press enter will help. I suggest that has soon as the multiplayer screen comes up type 'SGS' and then hit enter - and be quick about it.

Pressing enter applies the filters and just hitting enter has no filters - so it will be as though you had just waited. Following the advice about you will apply filters that return the SAIX servers - and I assume that's what you wanted.

If you, like me, connect by ip address, then select the small maps only filter option (deselect the other 2) - seems that small maps are rare, and mine doesn't hang with small maps only selected. Also, the small maps check is saved between game-runs, which helps a lot.

dude i was stuck kept freezing

when press multiplayer press ; ad hit enter then load ip works like a charm grrr

There is an MWEB one but it's not ranked even though they say it is.
 
well... typing ";" to me works fine... just await the flipping patch from EA to sort all this browser issues out once and for all...
 
Hahaha, I know... was a nervous laughter. but im sure the patch will be quite large. there are so much things that needs fixing. and a few extra maps wouldnt be bad :)
 
maybe night missions and IR capability? that would be too hard to handle though...
 
That would be awesome! imagine the bullet tracers, and the explosions at night. as well as flashbangs etc...
 
now trying to figure out who is a teammate and a baddie would be strenous... but the fireworks would be awesome... just like Baghdad!

silent night... deadly night... ;)
