Stoke - bad lag is when suddenly you're dead but it never happened suddenly.

I can't say that I really encountered lag. Sure I have had the odd problem with my connection message. I tend to end up suddenly dead very suddenly. Can only be the finger.
 
Is bad lag when =TelkomRocks= empties his shotgun on your body and you try to run ,you are dead and you blame it on lag?
 
Nope - bad lag is when you shoot =TelkomRocks= in the head a point blank range and then die cos he's actually behind you, but your computer never noticed that he took a step backwards till a little bit later.

Then you have to go and fetch a tank and kill =TelkomRocks= proper just for some revenge.

only played for a bout an hour, MUCH better than at a 200 man lan.
 
I just got my connection up and running and have been playing online for a little bit, and BF2 ROCKS!!!!! I am never going leave the house! :D

so there i am, game starts me and like 6 others pack into this heli, zoom off to enemy base, we're hovering over it, i think, well lemme drop down those c4 explosive thingies and make a big boom, so i'm chucking these things out the window , like 50 of them, i get the remote out to detonate them and as i push the button to detonate, one of the dudes in the chopper hands me more AMMO so i get more c4 which now cause i am pushing the button ends up INSIDE the heli and then it detonates, taking all of us down , then i get freaking banned from the server for team kills.

- LOOOOOL - It happens - welcome to real life. This is just an automatic 1 hour ban methinks - if you cannot get in tonight, then goto the SGS forums and explain what appened there.

you sure you want to get back with the same nick? lol! at last it seems the PB version on the SGS servers was sorted out, as i can join with minimal lag plus the addition of an Audigy 2 ZS which makes the sound really nice within the game. Had a hectic couple of hours last night.

*makes note to avoid flying with bboy* :p
 
well so far i have been sucking at this game, and sometimes ruling totaly, i either end up top scorer , or bottom scorer! but now that i have a good feel, i think its time to get a new nick, my old one is from the demo version and the stats are pretty ***!
 
its only 20 hours of gameplay so far!
with many suicides, but hey, whats a guy to do when a vehicle runs into you base packed with like 6 enemy soldiers and u have a whole lot of C4 on you!
 
the new patch promises to sort out the point harvesting for medics and engineers. Any idea if they are going to 'reset' all the scores? And, will anyone still be playing by the time I make general?
