Either way you're on to a good thing. Crouching to shoot and zooming both increase you're chances of survival... WrG site is down at the mo? :(

Thanks rb, for a mo i thought i'd been barred ;) 250 points... yikes, chopper, tank, APC? We had some really good runs between alleyway and construction site. Tense infantry stuff. Love it, good squad work. Askari of course revived my sorry flea bitten okie more than a few times :D thanks for that. In theory the sql should be playing a supporting role while the squad moves on a flag and takes it but hey maybe next time :) It seemed the internet connection was playing up last night. Got dropped once every 45 mins to 1 hour.
 
Hi geeks - seems saix is not the only place to suffer teklomnitis. I had some sorry assed techie delving in the depths of the local exchange and having to crawl under my desk trying to figure out how the link got stuffed up - unfortunately by the time he actually listened that the problem wasn't my end it was too dark for him to be up a ladder. We have hopes that the polejockey will be stringing cables today.

Wasn't my pole jockey - one of his colleagues stuffed my link up in April already. I am still in the process of extracting my pound of flesh - and I'll take the blood too.

Unfortunately it isn't cold enough to have them lose some extremities.

Oh, and mine must be ex-post office. He didn't want to meet my bull terrier last night.
 
I think I already voted on that one although I must say I do fail to see the point of late. I was quite happy when the game played you on one side and then flipped you over to the other for the return match - all seemed fair. But I think an assault on the integrity of the admins plus all the lies associated with that have mean that team stacking, or one-sided strategy development is the order of the day - rather than good old fun.

/me agree's with doob ... a 6800GT with 256 MB can be run on high, not a 6600GT with 256 MB though.

Been awile, I run it on all high with Antialiasing turned off on my 128MB 6600GT
 
What rezolution Hu Hu Hu ???? My 6600GT 128 MB at 900*600 cannot run on high. Forgetaboutit.
Then again ... me should perhaps try antialiasing off ... I currently run it at 4x [methinks].

1024x 768x Antialiasing makes a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference, 6600's just can't do it... you get 1000% better performance with it off.
 
carlhead i got a 6600gt and i run everything medium cept lighting which is low

i run AA 4x

trust me rather set everything medium with 4 x aa makes it look much better

i also got 2 gig memory im sure that helps

but rather have AA than high setting
