Battlefield 3 pre-order timing

Hey all,

I pre-ordered BF3 through Take2. The games expected arrival is 28 October. Does that mean that they will get the game to us on the 28th or will they only start shipping on the 28th? I called and asked and the lady said it all depends on the availability but they usually receive it a few days earlier and TRY their hardest to have it to us on release day.

The 28th is a Friday which means that if we dont receive it on the 28th we have to wait until Monday...

Would it be safer to just get it through BT Games or do Take2 deliver pre-orders on time. Ive always received awesome service from Take2 but this is freaking me out a tad.

Hey dude. They will most likely receive it on the 26th and ship on the 27th to have it to you by the 28th. This is how it normally works.

28th is just the street release date when suppliers are "allowed" to distribute the game, so yeah they generally get it a few days before.
 
BT Games usually have a midnight launch if you wanna be first in line.
 
kalahari is normally on time... previously when i pre-ordered games with them i received the game the day of release...has never been late. i know after work on the 28th when i go to the post office i will receive my BF3 :D
 
I'm really hoping something is sorted out between Steam and EA.... holding off on my pre-order for some news....
 
I always get my pre-orders from take2 on the release date. So in this case i Expect a dude to come knocking on my door on the 28th :)
