Glad I put in overtime for today. Stopping all other web DL, nntp just to max the play!!!
 
has it officially ended already!? Dammit! I wasnt able to get on today I was so pissed I wanted to come check if anyone else was having a problem.
 
It's weird.... Not being able to play it leaves this hollow space in my day....
So, who used what class?? I rotate between Assault (80%) and Recon (20%).

Assualt: F2000: Reflex sight, Heavy barrel, Silencer
Recon: SV98: 4x Scope, Straight bolt, Silencer

How the hell does that bolt work btw? I could never reload my SV98 without unscoping first....

From what I read it was bugged in beta.
 
All bolt action rifles in all the BF games I played you had to unscope to reload
 
They make the scoping like that so you can choose to either see where the bullet is going or load the next round.
It makes sense if you think about it, its not that easy to keep a sight still when reloading.

Yeah but the bolt is an attachment for the SV98 that specifically allows you to reload without unscoping, hence the question....

Lol, I only realised how valuable launchers are when I got to the third section on the Metro map :D
Also when I realised I'm not a support-class-man....
 
Okay, I can't really find much info on this, so I'm posting here. I have uncapped shaped 1Mb/s internet, and was wondering if this will be a problem running the game, since from what I can figure, Origin needs to be running, and an open browser, and the game itself. To play BF3 I already need to quit smoking (after exams) to pay for upgrades to my PC. This is fine, but I need to know if, after all this, I'll need to go unshaped to play with decent latency... I played the beta on my brothers PS3, love the game, but I can't afford to go unshaped atm.

Looking forward to being a member of the forum, I have occasionally lurked.

Should be fine. Played with 384k and it didn't perform too badly.
