Battlefield 3

Is anybody playing BF3 with a 3D setup? If yes, how is it?

I'd dig to see that! 42" Eyefinity 3D would be sweet.

Similarly, hows this:

THIS I'd like to try out!!

Is anyone playing bf 3 with a 32" tv?

If so how is it? I want a bigger monitor for my pc, thinking 42" but it could perhaps be too big. I have a projector 720p but it's a mission and it only has a 3000 hour lamp.

I play on a 32" Samsung series 6 lcd tv. no ghosting at all. play at 1920x1080 in all my games.

Playin on a 40 Sony Bravia
It's cool but you sometimes miss stuff cos the screen is so big. :D

But it's a dream to play on

I went Sony full HD

I game a LOT so no time to waste money on a Cheap screen/tv

32 inch cheapo tv looks crap, avoid it! Rather spend the money and get something decent.

Since I can't afford to do that I rather settled for a very good 24inch screen. I find it to be a nice in between size for everyday use.

Yeah, saw some guys showing me input lag on a high end Samsung by flicking the analogue stick on an xbox to navigate menus. Sometimes it would take 1-2 seconds to respond!

Which tv's suffer from this issue?

Most of the high end LCDs, the lag is created by all the post processing that the TV does to make the images look nice. So anything from the Samsung 6series + (and equivalent other brands) I would do alot of research on before buying. Series 5 Samsung has the lowest input lag of all TVs tested. So say the great and all knowing google and all the reviews I read about them before I got my 5 series.

Our server (Rebels from Hell) is a LOT more stable now that it's been moved. We managed to get to 60 players without a hint of lag or rubberbanding. When it was full at 64 a little bit of rubberbanding was felt by everyone, but nowhere near enough to make you quit. Its so much better now! 60 players seems to be the sweet spot.

wrt TV, I tried BC2 on my Sammy 32" and it wasn't so kiff. Once I got over the awesomeness of how big the screen is I realised it wasn't as sharp or quick as my monitor. I was using an HDMI cable though so with a DVI/VGA the experience may have been better.

i'm enjoy gaming on my samsung series 6 LCD ( 100hz). you need to change the port name to pc so that it enables game mode. I have my x360 also hooked up to it. running it from the HD5770 using a dvi to hdmi cable.

Do you guys change the refresh rate when adding your PC's to the LCD/Plasma's?

By this I mean on the GFX card, not the tv :p

This doesn't always work, basically you are setting it to game mode, which disables all the post processing but sometimes on certain TVs this does not turn off everything. Plus if you want to buy a super TV for gaming and end up putting it in game mode whats the point?

I only use the 32" as my kids needed a monitor, so i gave them my 21.5" Lg 2ms LCD.
