Battlefield 4 - Disconnects and skill

I have been unable to connect to a game this whole afternoon, every time I try in battlelog it tells me I'm playing but game client never shows the game.

I've noticed every time I try to connect and fail I lose skill points. I've lost 80 skill so far. This sucks

Sucks, mine just randomly crashes at times. WORSE thing ever after almost an hour of gameplay on a map!

What is weird, when I got home yesterday it suddenly just worked again

UPDATE #8 (Nov 12):
Client patch (PC)
The PC client patch for Battlefield 4 will go live in the near future and fixes a number of different issues you have helped us to identify, including a number of the most common crashes and freezes. We will get back to you with a full fix list and a specific date for this update soon.
