seems like the game release date is late march.

quick question(s), there are/will be only 2 editions available, std and deluxe right? (i am only interested in pc)

i'm thinking of going the deluxe route this time, as for bf3 and bf4 i went std and i feel i missed out on a lot fun in the multiplayer. best place to buy? i thought i saw deluxe on kalahari and takealot, but can't it now
 
Just buy the deluxe on origin and pre-download it. Makes life much less hassle, even if it is R10 more. You get it the instant it comes out.

I haven't used a dc/dvd rom in over 5 years.
 
origin seems to be r100 more expensive.

and now that I have a r250 voucher with kalahari, I am inclined to buy through them.

also with the "certain" patch on day 1 (maybe day 2), downloading the game and patch will certainly take a big chuck of my 100gb cap
 
The live beta is currently on

It is very smooth and there are 3 different game modes.

I have noticed some graphics glitches but all in all it looks great.
 
There was one visible active server last night.
The night before there were as many as 4.

All low ping and some having "Jhb" in their name, so presumably SA servers.
 
Played it for 1 minute this morning, deleted.Not for me, too COD like.
 
This should have been a DLC not a standalone game.
 
I really did not enjoy Hardline's beta (both closed and open, actually) and will not be buying it. Hoping the BF4 servers remain fairly populated for some time to come.

Yeah just double check your filers on the server search. They seem to be buggy and reset sometimes.
 
My mouse left button (fire) stopped working twice last night. Had to restart the game.

I do find myself playing a game of BF4 after Hardline (I like hardline, will probs get it). But yeah I thing the BF4 servers will still stay pretty packed for a couple of months, way to many guys still play and Hardline being R700 thing most people will just stick to BF4

Still sporadic... I found a workaround, though. As soon as they appear I quickly make them favourites - that way they remain on favourites list...

I'm sticking to BF4. Rather gonna spend the money on a Legacy of the Void collector's edition.
