So, everything was fine. I was enjoying the multiplayer. Then we had our loadshedding on Thursday, I sit through it and wait. When the power comes back on around 22h, I switch on my pc and see that there is an update required for play. No problem, I start the update and leace it through the night to finish.

Friday afternoon arrives and I switch on, only to discover that suddenly my ping is crazy high and the multiplayer is laggy, sometimes even kicking me from the game.

Is this a line sync issue, or something to do with the update?

Another thing, since installing the game, every time I run it, it will open in windowed mode. This happen no matter what the settings are ingame. Any advice?

Yes, BF4.

I contacted Afrihost to resync my line, since their online tool resynced it to 1 Mbps instead of 2 Mbps. Speedtest showed good results. The real test will probably be tonight. I will have to see if I can connect to the BF4 servers and again enjoy lag free mayhem.

It went much better tonight. Seems I only had to ask Afrihost to resync.
