So any got it ..whichever battlefiled was released today?
I am fed up of buying games because of the hype and they turn out to be limp weeds...like GTAIV, Orange Box, Bioshock...none of those lived up to expectations!

Played the demo on PS3, pretty sure the Xbox version will be similar. It looks alot more storyline orientated than previous games, something that might or might not work for the series.

I've been playing the demo for the last month and got the full version 2 days ago. It's brilliant. It's not some dumbed down version, it's a proper Battlefield. Imagine BF2, but with CoD4 quality graphics and destructible environments.
Just get it!
Just be aware that you can't host local, the lag though is a non issue, the compensation is phenomenal.

i played a demo of Assasins Creed on creed, and i liked it (although it ran slow due to my system)...
...will have to get it for xbox,

the problem is multiplayer, there are so many cod4 games is that if you can't host and find local games then cod4 will continue to rule, so no point in getting it then as all the fun is killing the same bad sa players over and over again - international players learn to many tricks
maybe I will wait for game exchange to get it and then they can take rainbow 2 off me

Sorry that was a bit of a rush post, let me try be a bit more coherent.
From a Single player perspective, if CoD4 is Blackhawk down, Battlefield Bad Company is Lethal Weapon meets 3 Kings. CoD4 is a challenge, BFBC is FUN. Yes the AI is too accurate, but your respawn into the same fight and keep going, there's no throwing controllers at TVs out of frustration from having to redo the same thing over and over. The characters are cliched, but they're a laugh and cool for it. This is summer blockbuster action you don't sit here contemplating whether it's worthy of "game of the year" you just have a blast playing it.
Apparently the SP is about 8-12 hours btw.
Multiplayer wise, there are a lot of SA players online, I counted 8 as I logged in. The not being able to host is a bit of a bummer I'm hoping they fix in a patch, but you can still squad together. As I said, I cannot explain how good the lag compensation is, I can only describe it as the best I have ever seen.

I was at geme exchange in Edenvale today and there I see behind the dude battlefield so he pases it to me and I says how much and he tunes me like R590 so I says ok and he says oops sorry last copy this other dude asked for it b4 you and took it away - so I got COD2 - man cod2 is a blast.
I also got blazing angels 2 which is also a blast so I may or may not get battlefield next week when they get more, i still have rainbow 2 to exchange...
