Hello

I owned a BB 8520 curve - Never had any issues - never broke nothing.
I had to sell it though.

Anyway i recently thought about getting a BB9320 Curve.

Is it worth it, does it have horror stories, is it stable?
Alternative options?

am also undecided on the 9320. I noticed vodacom has 2 deals, R169pm bis + top up 99 v for less, And R189pm bis + top up 135. All i'm not to thrilled about is the 3.2mp camera.

Heard from friends that these phones heat up a lot but I guess that depends on what the user is doing with it.

I downgraded from a BlackBerry Bold (which is supposed to be a more superior handset) to the BlackBerry Curve 9320 - and I am extremely happy. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.

It's a rock-solid phone in terms of stability and it's also relatively quick (the navigation and the use of applications).

My only complaint is that the default Browser application is slow and sometimes crashes when too many (2 or 3) tabs are open, with websites that have many images or lots of content. Besides that though, the BlackBerry Curve 9320 works very well. I haven't rebooted mine for 2 weeks now. It keeps going...

However, one trick I've learnt with the BlackBerry devices: Do not install too many apps on it. The more apps you have, the worse it becomes.

I've kept the phone as stock-standard as possible. So default software with these apps only: Twitter and WhatsApp

NOTHING else!! No crap weather apps or anything else. Too many apps kill the BlackBerry in my opinion.

I think you should go for it, especially if you loved your previous Curve 8520 - it's everything like that and better.

I am upgrading my 8520 to 9360. Apparently it is a good BB, hopefully better than the 8520, although the handset i have now is perfect. I am hoping prices will come down for the iPhone 5 when I can upgrade on 1 Feb 2014. We shall just have to see

Oh.my.word.

The 9360 is terrible. A 1000 mAh battery? Had to LOL.

Just looking at the comments on GSMArena, you know this is a lemon.

From all the friends that have had the phone saying it is soooo much better than the 8520 and there is nothing wrong with their batt life

Cos anything is better than a 8520. :)

The 8520 can't even do 3G, so it actually not even a smartphone.

Well I can't wait to Order it..... My friend has had hers for over an year and batt has no problems at all. No software issues, no physical issues unlike me lol. Mind you she had the 8520 as well and has had no issues..... I am not sure what I am going to get on 1 Feb. Just going to see what is available
