BB 9790

Hi,

Anyone have one of these new bb's . Is it any good!
They say its the baby of the 9900 and that the battery life is better than the 9900 and that the camera is better too!!

Is it a worthwhile upgrade compared to the 9810

About a month ago I bought the 9790. I also wanted to buy the 9810, but it was out of stock, but the 9790 was just released, so I took one.

I have to admit that I am very impressed with it, it is fast (very fast), the touchscreen works perfectly with no response issues.

Unfortunately, as with all the new range BB's, the battery is not very good. I am lucky if the battery lasts for a day. The best of all is that I am running only 1 app on it (Where's my Phone).

Besides the battery, the phone is small (Smaller than the 9900 and 9810), and I just love it.

I think RIM may have hit the gold with the 9790.

If you are a BB fan you will love the phone! Like I said, just remember the battery!

I am a big BB fan, can the battery b any worse than the 9900?
I usually keep it on 2G/Edge and works well

The camera is better due to the Auto focus (9900 doesn't have Auto focus) but the 9900 has 720HD unlike the 9790, VGA video only
It depends what you want, I went for the HD video coz when comparing the still images, it wasn't that big of a difference to lose out on HD video
